Mohammad Sahadat Hussain has been working for over 19 years in training, consultancy and assessment in resource management, energy efficiency, water efficiency, chemical management, waste management, project implementation, project management and reporting. In his career journey, he worked as Lead consultant or Process & Water Efficiency expert on various resource efficiency projects such as IFC-PaCT program (Basic Cleaner Production and In-depth Cleaner Production), STWI project, AIC project, Bestseller FWD>ENV program, H&M NEST program. He has completed his BSc in Chemical Engineering from the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh.

With extensive experience in sustainability and Cleaner Production in the textile sector, he possesses unprecedented knowledge of Energy and Water management issues at ground-level implementation. He has been providing training and overall guidance, and active participation in all of the resource efficiency projects of GIZ, IFC, STWI, AIC, NCCI, and brands for more than a decade. With his in-depth knowledge of textile processes and products, he has conducted ToT for Climate Action Training (CAT), Chemical management. Furthermore, he was the Co-lead in Translation of e-learning Training on Climate Action and Chemical Management Project of GIZ. In the past 3 years, he has training delivery experience of 2000 man-hours through 25+ sessions on sustainability, energy and water efficiency, resource tracking, chemical management, waste management, wastewater management and climate action.
